South Carolina Picks Collaborate for Networks
Social service agencies are smartly turning toward data analysis to tailor more sophisticated approaches aimed at improving Client outcomes. With that in mind, the state of South Carolina will soon use Collaborate for Networks to transform its case management processes across two major organizations that already have a strong history of working together.
South Carolina CACs Getting a Boost
The South Carolina Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers (SCNCAC) represents all seventeen Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs) in South Carolina, providing specialized training, technical assistance, and general support services to CACs and community partners. In 2017, South Carolina CACs served over 8,500 children statewide.
South Carolina will kick off the Collaborate Interview & Discovery period this fall, during which the software will be tailored to meet their real-world requirements. SCNCAC is an outcome-focused organization, and Collaborate’s strengths in accurate data collection and reporting will help the centers more effectively manage their cases. In turn, funders, Boards, and multidisciplinary team (MDT) members will gain deeper insights into South Carolina’s efforts throughout the community.

SCCADVASA Joins the Team, Too
Also located in the Palmetto State, the South Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault (SCCADVASA) is on a mission is to end domestic and sexual violence in South Carolina through a combination of advocacy, collaboration, and education.
South Carolina-based domestic violence shelters and rape crisis centers will use Collaborate to track Clients throughout the life of their Cases, including Intake, Services, and Reporting.
Expanding on their existing partnership, SCCADVASA and SCNCAC are exploring ways with the Collaborate team to coordinate their implementations together and help improve outcomes for the communities they serve.
Some organizations within each of the South Carolina networks span both the CAC and the SCCADVASA networks - having a single application that can manage both networks will eliminate duplication of effort.
