Introducing Collaborate for CSEC Programs
For over 20 years, Children’s Advocacy Centers across the U.S. have used Collaborate to efficiently track Cases, record Services, and provide accurate Reports to grant funders.
Now, the software is being put to use by CSEC Programs, supporting their efforts to:
- Improve the lives and outcomes for child and youth victims of human trafficking,
- Better coordinate with law enforcement, judicial, and victim service partners, and
- Advance the multi-disciplinary response to Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children.
Case Study: Georgia’s CSEC Response Team
The Children’s Advocacy Centers of Georgia (CACGA) CSEC Response Team uses Collaborate to manage over 6,700 units of service provided to more than 500 affected youth each year.

Specialized CSEC Software
In cooperation with leaders from the CAC and CSEC worlds, Collaborate has been customized to meet the unique needs of the CSEC model. Specialized modules that Child Advocates are using include:
- CANS Assessments,
- Law Enforcement Investigations,
- Prosecution Dispositions, and
- DCFS Services.
A Multi-Network Approach
Statewide networks of CSEC Programs, CACs, and even Law Enforcement SVUs (who often track runaways or missing children) can securely and efficiently store information in their siloed Collaborate environments - and share data, if desired.
This Multi-Network application framework is cost-effective, and enables collaboration between diverse and remote teams - which means better care for Clients.
Live in Georgia Now
Collaborate for CSEC Programs rolled out for several centers in Georgia in the fall of 2020. As more advocates across the state become cross-trained in CSEC Services, additional networked Collaborate instances will be added to support their efforts.
